Why I like edbear_2004
Good shoulder rubs… good good shoulder rubs :)
Waxy_Dan or as I know him XXXX (Sorry Edbear; can’t be having my name online – WaxyDan)! Well we have met on some very intersting nights – inner child (who could forget THAT!) then there were the birthdays and the dinners – all in all a wonderful mix of great times and memories and more to come in the future!
She sometimes laughs with total abandon like there’s no tomorrow. It’s infectious and rather lovely.
Was at a burlesque night last week; sipping wine and laughing, leaning over the balcony to smile at the firebreathers, strippers, and musicians.
A really interesting guy; amiable, chatty and interesting.
What I find impressive is (as I perceive it) his manner of valuing everything as an experience to be learnt from.
The first confusion was his name is not Dan, it’s Eoin. Then there was another man in the pub with a book while Eoin (Waxy_Dan) was hiding in a corner where I couldn’t see him. So I had an interesting conversation with a random customer that started “Er… are you Dan?”
Anyway, we had a good evening, talked about a lot of things but more specifically software and buying flats. Then it was time to go home. Hopefully, we can meet up more often and have a group larger than 2 next time.
I met him briefly a few years ago when he was doing a reading from his (then) new book.
He instantly won the hearts of the audience when he stepped up to address us. Staring at the ceiling, his hands shaking so badly the splashing from the water bottle was as loud as he; he apologised for being so nervous when talking in front of people.
Really nice guy; answered every question he could by enquiring about the person asking it and engaging the audience with a genuine interest.
We are both outraged by the real estate process in the UK. We can rant for england. It’s great!!
He seems totally cool and live in my old neighborhood.
